Miss Mariel is a beam of positive energy as well as a wealth of information & ideas. She had such a powerful impact on our lives; we were so incredibly lucky to cross paths with her!

Overall, she was very easy to work with as well as very skilled at what she does. I could easily
talk with her about situations at home and she was always so knowledgeable and
understanding and mindful with her responses. She gave me incredible insight into my son’s world, something I would not have able to get on my own.

An overall amazing experience!

Mariel skillfully navigates challenging moments with playfulness & empathy, helps us understand the connections between our daughter’s physical & mental experiences, and has given us invaluable tools to help her thrive and find joy.

Mariel has helped our family integrate a sensory diet that helps Sophia feel safe and regulated and has helped us incorporate a number of invaluable tools to help accommodate Sophia’s needs, allowing her to feel in control of her own body and build confidence in herself.

Most importantly, she has guided, coached, and supported our family through a lens shift — one that will allow us to best support Sophia as she grows.

Mariel has become an integral part of our family’s journey and we are eternally thankful for her!

Mariel is a gem!

We were so fortunate to start working with her when my son started exhibiting sensory seeking behaviors and emotional regulation issues at 3 years old and later on when he exhibited fine motor challenges related to writing.

She partnered with us to customize our play spaces, buy the right clothing and create the best routine so our son felt comfortable and regulated in our over-stimulating world. She also collaborated with his care team, including various caregivers, extended family and teachers over multiple years to create the best learning environment in my son’s classrooms.

Over time, Mariel has become a trusted friend and go-to advisor to help us understand our son as his needs evolve with age.

I feel beyond grateful to have Mariel in my life and highly recommend her to any family looking for support and family coaching.

Mariel is exceptional at what she does.

My son’s needs are complex, and she tended to them with expertise, compassion, creativity, and purpose in every interaction. She took so much care to know and understand him as an individual, always leveraging his strengths to help him where he struggles.

Her insights and advice have helped guide us through difficult challenges, and we see the impacts of her dedicated, informed work in our son’s growth.

Her joy is contagious, and she has a truly special way of applying her considerable intelligence with emotional presence—she’ll always be part of our family.

Dear Mariel, It was such an enriching & inspiring experience working with you this last couple of years.

I have learned so much from observing you and from your thoughtful insights. Everything you were willing to share helped me develop successful strategies for the classroom settings.Your integrity as an educator goes beyond your OT hat; I enjoy the way you promote each child’s social and emotional development through mutual respect and healthy boundaries learning.

You made me grow as a professional for the benefits of our students, and I will never thank you enough for that.

I would highly recommend Mariel to anyone looking to gain these services!

Mariel presented passionately at our most recent all-staff training day. She led the group of almost 150 early childhood education professionals and kept them engaged in discussing and learning about sensory processing with children. One can tell Mariel was knowledgeable, articulate and interactive. Our teachers gained new knowledge and had better understanding of children they work with. Mariel’s examples were relevant to the audience and she was able to lead the discussion by picking up clues from the group. Leading a group of this size for such a difficult topic is not that easy. Mariel found ways to keep activities and icebreakers throughout her presentation, which made the presentation lighter and fun.

We would definitely bring her back again. It would be extremely valuable to get Mariel to work with our leadership team at my 5 Primrose schools so that they are better prepared to work with the children and families.
